Little Maria has been left in the care of her grandmother Matilde. The relationship between them is not very good. While Maria spends her time creating, her grandmother, who has become ill, has the urge to teach her the little trades that can help her fend for herself when she is gone. Their relationship becomes more tense, until her grandmother remembers a secret she has kept since childhood.
